The Northwest Corridor
Development Corporation (NCDC) is a federally incorporated non-profit
organization whose activities are funded primarily through its
membership. The membership provides this funding through annual
membership fees as well as paid participation and/or sponsorship of NCDC
events. An example is the conference held each year in conjunction with
the Annual General Meeting. NCDC membership reflects both private and
public sectors, working in partnership. Member organizations include
utilities, transportation companies, manufacturers, labour groups, all
three levels of government, and other organizations.
Through
membership your organization benefits from ongoing NCDC networking,
marketing, and advocacy activities directed toward continual improvement
in public policy and infrastructure. Membership privileges include
newsletters, ongoing NCDC Board liaison with federal, provincial and
municipal elected representatives, policy analysis, and transportation
and trade representatives. Membership also presents an opportunity for
your designated representative to seek election to the NCDC Board of
Directors. Your membership directly supports NCDC’s ongoing efforts
toward assuring a seamless corridor of multimodal transportation, trade
and tourism opportunities evolves in Canada’s Northwest Corridor for the
potential benefit of all involved.
